Individual Therapy

History, despite its wrenching pain, cannot be unlived, but if faced with courage, need not be lived again." ~Maya Angelou

Each one of us experiences life differently, from entirely unique perspectives. Consequently, our feelings in response to past and present circumstances, as well as our projections or worries about the future, are completely individual.

When we are faced with issues or challenges that cause us stress, therapeutic intervention is an effective approach to help us explore, clarify, understand and process our thoughts and feelings. It is a reality that often our current behaviors are influenced by our past experiences, both good and bad. We find ourselves repeating the same behavior patterns time after time, whether or not these patterns are effective in solving our problems or moving our lives forward in a positive way.

Mr. Cagan’s accepting, open and insightful manner encourages his clients to look honestly within themselves, and to understand themselves and the motivations behind current thoughts and behaviors at a much deeper level. Through this new self-awareness, individuals find themselves empowered by the knowledge and strength to change long-standing patterns of behavior so they can move forward in their lives, without being held back by emotional road blocks.
